Line C-6 connects the airport with Alicante centre (Plaza Puerta del Mar) via the bus station. Price ~€4, travel time ~25 min. Cheap, but fixed stops, inconvenient with lots of luggage and not towards the resorts.
ALSA bus & TRAM to the coast
ALSA buses run from the airport to Benidorm and Torrevieja; for the TRAM (light rail) along the coast you first have to reach Alicante centre. Cheap but with transfers, fixed times and not door-to-door.
