Taxi Schiphol to Almere

Cheap taxi from Amsterdam Schiphol to Almere — door-to-door, from €72, 24/7.

Met inside Schiphol arrivals and driven straight to your Almere address

Coming home should not begin with a queue. Reserve this transfer beforehand, which costs you about a minute online, and a confirmation is issued on the spot, followed by the name, mobile number and registration of your driver, whose car you can track live while it comes to meet you. There is nothing extra to settle at the end and the service does not stop when the last train does. When your aircraft touches down at Schiphol, whether that is at half past six in the evening or at one in the morning, the driver is already standing in the arrivals hall of Schiphol Plaza with your name on a sign. Because your flight number is part of the booking, the driver works to the actual landing time, so a delayed arrival is taken into account. From the airport the route follows the A9 east, joins the A1 towards Amersfoort and then crosses the Hollandse Brug on the A6 into Flevoland, roughly 40 km that usually takes 30 to 45 minutes. Instead of hauling cases through Amsterdam and changing platforms, you are set down at your own door, wherever in the city that is: a street near the harbour in Almere Haven, a block near Almere Centrum station, a family house out in Almere Buiten close to the Oostvaardersplassen, or one of the newer apartments in Almere Poort by the IJmeer. Residents back from a fortnight away and visitors staying with family in the city use it for exactly that reason. The car starts from €91 for the whole vehicle.

Transparent Pricing

The journey from Schiphol Airport to Almere starts from €91 for a private car, and the figure applies to the car as a whole, so a couple or a family share it rather than each paying. Where in the city you are being dropped and the size of vehicle you choose shift the total slightly, and the booking module shows your own number before you confirm.

Your flight number is part of the reservation, so the pickup follows the real landing time rather than the timetable. What the module quoted is what you pay, whether you settle online in advance or choose another payment option at checkout. A child seat can be requested beforehand, and the cancellation terms are shown before you confirm.

What makes the run home to Almere easy

Landing tired is the worst moment to start negotiating, so everything is arranged before you fly. You book directly online, see the full amount before confirming, and that amount is what you pay, late at night as much as at midday. The driver meets you inside the hall, takes the heavy cases off your hands and drives you home without a meter running. Bookings are accepted around the clock.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where exactly do I find my driver at Schiphol?

In the arrivals hall of Schiphol Plaza, just past the doors of the baggage area, holding a sign with your name on it. There is no need to phone around or look for a rank.

My flight lands after midnight, is that a problem?

No, the service runs through the night, weekends and holidays included. Book the transfer for the scheduled landing time and the driver is there whenever the aircraft actually arrives.

What happens if passport control and the bags take an hour?

The pickup is planned around your actual landing time, and you receive the driver's mobile number before the trip, so if passport control or the baggage belt is slow you can simply send a message.

How long is the drive to Almere?

Normally 30 to 45 minutes for the 40 km, using the A9, the A1 and then the A6 across the Hollandse Brug. Late in the evening the drive is usually at the quicker end of that range.

What is the starting price for this transfer?

From €91 for a private car, priced for the whole vehicle. Your own figure is shown in the booking module before you confirm, and no surcharge follows afterwards.

Will you take me to any address in Almere?

Yes, the drop-off is wherever you live or are staying, be that Almere Haven, Stad, Buiten or Poort. Hotels, student rooms and hospital addresses are all handled the same way.
