Collected at Schiphol arrivals and driven home to Bekkevoort in the Hageland

Step off an intercontinental flight at Schiphol and the border is still ahead of you, along with two hours of road and a village that no Dutch train timetable has ever heard of. Arranging the car beforehand takes about a minute, costs one amount agreed in advance with nothing appearing afterwards, and gets you a confirmation on the spot, the driver name, number and plate before the day, and a vehicle you can track live. Someone drives at every hour, including the ones nobody else wants. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall at Amsterdam Schiphol with a sign showing your name, follows your flight number so the timing shifts with reality, and allows sixty minutes of free waiting after you land. He takes the trolley off you and you sit down. The route home covers around 175 kilometres in roughly 103 to 128 minutes, running south through Dutch motorway country, over the border past Antwerp and into the Hageland, where Bekkevoort lies among orchards and low wooded hills between Diest and Tienen. Assent, Molenbeek-Wersbeek or the centre, the car goes to the address itself, up the driveway if need be. This is the return every long-haul traveller from this corner of Flemish Brabant thinks about on the long flight home. An arrival transfer from Amsterdam Schiphol to Bekkevoort starts from €310 for the car.

How much is a taxi from Amsterdam Schiphol to Bekkevoort? From €310 for the vehicle, with the meeting in arrivals and the luggage help already in it. Your precise amount depends on the drop-off address and the car you select, and appears while you book.

Included: live flight monitoring, sixty minutes of free waiting after landing and free cancellation up to 24 hours beforehand. Landing at three in the morning or on a public holiday does not change the figure, because there is no night or weekend tariff. Child seats, a Maxi-Cosi or a booster are free on request. Pay in cash or by card with the driver, or online in advance.

Coming home from Schiphol without a change of train

The alternative to this transfer is a Dutch train, a Belgian train, a connection in Brussels or Leuven and a final taxi from the nearest station, all with your luggage. Here one car does the whole thing while you sleep. The driver is a Belgian professional, he has been watching your flight since it left, and he is inside the terminal before you clear the hall. What you agreed when booking is what you pay when he pulls up in Bekkevoort.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I find the driver at Schiphol?

In the arrivals hall, with a sign carrying your name. You do not need to call, message or go looking for a car park; walk out of the baggage area and he is there.

How much waiting time do I get after landing?

Sixty minutes free, counted from touchdown, which covers passport control and baggage reclaim comfortably even after a long-haul arrival.

What if my flight comes in hours late?

We monitor the flight number live, so the driver works from the actual landing time. There is nothing for you to do from the air.

How long until I am home in Bekkevoort?

Around 103 to 128 minutes for the 175 kilometres, border included, depending on how the Dutch motorways are running at that hour.

What does it cost to be driven home?

From €310 for the whole car. A couple or a family of four shares that rather than paying it each, and the exact sum for your address shows in the booking module.

Can I be dropped in Assent or Molenbeek-Wersbeek instead of the centre?

Yes. Any address in the municipality is fine, and the driver goes there directly from the terminal without detours.

Do you drive on holidays and at night?

Yes, every day of the year and at any hour, with no supplement for unsociable landing times.
